In early summer, the forest slowly awakens. Fresh green leaves unfold, the air fills with birdsong, and migratory birds return after the long winter.
As summer deepens, life reaches its peak. This is the season of growth and new life—young birds learning to fly, animals moving quietly through the forest, and the landscape at its most vibrant and alive.
By mid-summer, the first wild berries begin to ripen. Golden cloudberries appear in July, followed by blueberries and lingonberries that carry the season gently toward autumn. Each visit offers something different—something real.

Optional Discovery: Hidden Forest Lakes
If you feel drawn toward the water, we can take an alternative route to the secluded lakes of Teerilampi or Saarilampi.
Depending on the season, you might try simple shore fishing, watch the still surface reflect the sky, or just sit in silence in a place few people ever reach.
The Heart of the Experience: Your Private Cabin & Wood-Fired Sauna
At the center of the retreat is our private wilderness cabin—a place where firewood, stillness, and time create something rare: a feeling of true Finnish kotoisa (coziness).
A Hearty Wilderness Lunch by the Fire
After our time outdoors, we return to the warm cabin. Together, we prepare and enjoy a simple but authentic Lappish meal.
Coffee is brewed the traditional way—over an open fire—while the day slows down around us.
The Traditional Finnish Sauna Ritual
No day in the wilderness is complete without a sauna.
The gentle heat of the wood-fired sauna relaxes your body after the hike, but more importantly, it marks the transition—from movement to stillness.
