This is not just a place to stay, but a carefully prepared wilderness base in remote Lapland.
The cabin is offered as a hosted wilderness stay. I live in the neighbouring cabin and am normally nearby during your stay. I will show you how the cabin and sauna work, explain how water and firewood are handled, and make sure you know how to live comfortably and safely in this off-grid environment.
You will have your own privacy and independence, while local help and knowledge are available when needed.

– Local advice and tips for independent activities such as snowshoeing, ice fishing and aurora viewing

The aim is simple: you can enjoy the wilderness independently without having to figure out the practicalities of an off-grid cabin on your own.
Independent activities and optional services
The surrounding wilderness is yours to explore independently. I can provide local information and practical advice to help you plan your own activities.
Separate guided activities, meals and other services are also available on request and are agreed and booked separately from the accommodation.

This is a remote, off-grid wilderness location without electricity or running water.
The experience is based on simplicity, nature and real Arctic conditions. You will need to be comfortable with basic off-grid living and managing the practicalities of cabin life.
It is best suited for guests who appreciate quiet, independence and authenticity rather than hotel-style comfort.
The idea is not to provide a hotel in the wilderness, but to give you a genuine base from which to experience Lapland on your own terms.
